How green are you?

We the human beings live in a world involved in precarious environment conditions. Contamination in different areas: the sea, the Earth, the air, acoustic.
The people today learn about environmentally friendly practices studying in the school, when this educative institution promotes to have conscience respect to this important theme. How? Through speech or discourses, workshop, investigation projects, competition with others schools, or tendering process.  Of this way, the students train their conscience for the care and attention of the nature and the environment.
I don´t renew the materials I use, unfortunately, because where I live there aren´t close to the houses recycling places. However, I try to use the same things in other occasions, for example, the bag for the bread or of the supermarket. When I have old clothes, books or magazine, I prefer to give them to neighbor or to sell them in a fair close to my house. If it had some close recycling place to carry waste or other kind of materials like piece of glass, paper, carton or plastic, I would love carry all there, of course.
I don´t participate in eco-organizations. But I would like to work with other friends, neighbors, or with somebody of my family for contribute to the good condition of our neighborhood (maintenance of parks, recycling, care of animals from the street, etc.). But, to realize an activity like this it´s something complicated, because sometimes the people don´t have time or it´s difficult direct and manage an organization.
In relation to reduce carbon footprint, I haven´t investigated to respect. But I know that it´s important prevent the vehicular contamination, and it´s better to use the bicycle.

Santiago in this case it´s a very polluted city, because of it´s the capital of Chile (this implicates a great economy, working in industries and manufactures, for this reason it´s compressible the pollution). The people in general (and the government) prioritize the hard work, the technology and the economy, but they aren´t worried for the nature, the environment, the family, the future, the culture nor the education.
If every one of us can working with love for the surrounding, our family and the Earth in general, this world would be totally different and everybody would be happy.

Free post 3

Hi again.Today, I´m going to talk you about my favorite sport: the cycling.
Well, today I haven´t many imagination for to write something, so I decided explain about this, an activity very entertainment.
When I was a little girl, I liked the roller skating. I went to O’Higgins Park and Hollywood Park with my family for to practice.
However, the time was passing, I was growing, and, of course, I was changing and my interest too.
I began to practice cycling. I felt it was a more interesting sport, with more defiance. I went through mountain, on pasture, stone and cement. The obstacles and route were diverse, but I liked that. I had very much energy for use it during all day.
I think that the cycling offers more possibilities of training and places to know, to difference of the roller skating, because it´s more restricted. I think that the roller skating on ice it´s more beautiful and elegant, but when a person fall it can becomes painful, even dangerous.
In spite of the adrenaline, it´s very important to practice the cycling with protection for your body (this it, the correct use of the helmet and knee-pad) and respect traffic sings, for our safety and so to prevent accidents. If we consider this preventive measure, we can have fun of healthy way.

In addition to the cycling, I would love to learn other kind of sports, for example surf, but I would need to live close to the coast.

A summary of a new...

“Depression in pregnancy may affect children's mental health”, study finds
This is a problem very recurrent actually in our society. We like human being have a stressful life style every day. The women, above all, have many responsibilities in relation to labor and familiar areas.
Now then, the pregnancy is a complicated stage for the women. According to the shown information of a new research, if they are depressed during this period, their children may be more a likely to succumb to depression when they are teenager (by the age of 18).
Why does this happen? A study from Bristol University mentions that levels of the stress hormone cortisol –which are raised in depression-, may affect the development of the foetus in the womb.
For example, mothers that developed schizophrenia during the war passed on an increased risk to their children.
This way, the development of people´s mental health begins before birth.
The study is published in JAMA (Journal of the American Medical Association) Psychiatry. The principal conductor called Rebeca Pearson, researcher at Bristol University´s school of social community medicine, together with others colleagues, studied data on the mental health of more than 4.500 parents and their adolescent children.
The final findings suggest that treating depression in pregnancy may be most effective as much for the health of the mother and the foetus, irrespective of background.

It´d be important that the sociology applied public politics for the well-being and health of the women in pregnancy.

Free topic…

Well, today I would to tell you about the city where I was born: Villarrica. I chose this topic because I love the south of Chile. I know that many Chilean people would like to visit the Araucanía region of our country for the next summer.
However, Villarrica is a magic place. During the winter or the summer; it offers unforgettable panoramas and wonderful landscapes.
The last holidays, I had the chance to practice kayak with a friend in the Villarrica Lake. While we were sailing, we could estimate the beauty of the Volcano Villarrica. During the course of the trip, we took many photographs.
In other occasion, we visited thermal springs in Pucón in the middle of the night. All the water came from Villarrica Volcano. Also, there were tourists from different countries.
In the center there were many Mapuche craft fairs. This way, the tourists can know their culture, the gastronomy, the Mapudungun language, the clothing, among others curiosities.
The pastures and the forests are essential feature of this zone of Chile. The beauty and the different green colour scheme make someone fall in love.
I would love to live there someday…

“A country I´d like to visit”

I would like to visit Egypt. Maybe this isn´t a country very demanded by the Chilean youth, or it´s difficult to think in a place to go on holiday as this (above all because of in this moment exists conflict in this part of the world), but I consider that it´s a very interesting and attractive country to know.
Well, I  have never travelled to Egypt, but I have seen beautiful images of desert landscapes, the River Nile, the Pyramids, ruins and sculptures. This country shows unique panoramas on the whole Earth. I would like to visit museums, go through those wonderful monuments, to know the hieroglyph and many other amazing curiosities.
If I were an archaeologist I would really like to go there for working. History, fossil, mummies and papyrus manuscript would be my source of work. Other option would be to study languages (English, French or Egyptian Turk) to go there and to know other people, their culture and customs.  It would be interesting to learn about the lifestyle of the people, the traditional music, what kind of food they consume, the education system, etc.
Definitely, Egypt is a beautiful country.

My ideal job

My ideal job would be to work as a musician, because I love to listen to music. When I was in secondary school I played the guitar in an instrumental band, and there were musical instruments such as acoustic ans electric guitar, piano, flutes, drums, violin, percussion, etc. We played different styles: classical music, rock, ballads, music of movies, etc. We made events and presentations to finish the year. Later, I learnt to play the piano, and today -sometimes, when I have a little time- I perform pieces and music sheets.

Besides to get the musical instrument, to do this job is necessary to be disciplined, that is to say, you have to have a routine of exercises and practice, hopefully everyday, a couple of hours. It´s very important to be constant, patient, persistent- but above all- to show enthusiasm. I think that this is more important that to have a special talent.

I consider that I´m a very disciplined and systematic person. Perhaps I´m not a great talent, but I learn quickly and I have knowledge and musical studies. Also, I love the music and I´m very happy when I practice or I play some musical piece.

However, it´s very difficult to work as a musician in this country, because it´s non-remunerated work, and neither very stable.
